The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed concerning the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The services stage designed for intervention activities a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
